Painter and drawing artist currently working and living
in Verneuil-sur-Avre.

Camille Paulette Jannette, whose real name is Camille Jannet, was born in France in 1995. She currently lives and works in her studio in Normandy. As a multidisciplinary artist, Camille obtained a National Diploma in Art and Design from EESAB in 2017 and a diploma in Art and Craft Ceramics from Sèvres in 2019. Her work focuses primarily on large-scale poetic figurative portraits of women, blending melancholy and softness to evoke a sense of calm. Recurring themes in her practice include absence and grief, which she explores with a comforting touch. These absences are expressed through a combination of representation and technique, often in installations that question the notion of the afterlife and our place as individuals within it. Camille’s art creates an intimate dialogue between emotion, presence, and transcendence.
